X-Treme View Binoculars

X-Treme View Binoculars

The main feature of these binoculars is the excellent field of view thanks to the 50mm lenses, but there are many other features that makes them great value. The rubber armouring mean they can survive the rigours of outdoor use pretty well but you can also use them with a tripod. If you wear glasses the eye relief (the distance you can have them away from your eyes) is 17.8mm - enough for thicker glasses - and you can roll down the eye cups.

They have a hinge to adjust for the distance between your eyes and also a right eye diopter that allows you to compensate for any differences in the strength between your left and right eye. Once you have adjusted for this you can use the the centre focus knob. The combination of Porro prisms, a 50mm lens plus 5mm exit pupil (the lens close to your eye) and multiple coatings on the optics allow plenty of light to get through making images brighter and clearer. this makes them effective enough to use in relatively low light conditions.
  • BAK-4 prism glass
  • Magnification 10x
  • Close focus 6m
  • Field of view - 133m @ 1000m
  • Carrying case
  • Neck strap
  • Lens cloth
